We have served our customers for more than 30 years in a number of locations, are well known to our community and have been featured on all major Sydney publications. We are recruiting for Brand and Marketing Internship to work in our new flagship store conveniently located in the Sydney CBD at World Square Shopping Centre. Gong Grocer Brand and Marketing Internship
-Duration 3-6 months
-2 days per week
-9am – 5pm, Monday and Wednesday (Flexible to be negotiated)

Based in World Square, the internship will offer the right candidate a practical level of experience within the fields of marketing, design and retail.

Roles and responsibilities include assisting the team and gaining experience on the below:

-Attend strategy and brainstorming meetings with internal teams, provide input on strategy or sales ideas, assist with any note taking or admin tasks as required - with goals of maximising customer engagement and sales targets.

-Basic graphic design assistance for physical retail as well as digital assets including but not limited to signage, promotional signage, social media tiles, or ad tiles.

-Participate in mood boarding and inspiration concepting ensuring cohesion to brand.
-Content creation still image and video, in store and out of store of new products and upcoming releases for social media use.
-Attend and participate to assist the team on any major campaign activations, including but not limited to - photoshoots, tasting events, influencer events or promotional special events in and out of store.
-Participate in coordinating influencer gifting or influencer events.
-Any other adhoc team support duties including but not limited to research and updating reports with data, sourcing and purchasing marketing materials, adhoc marketing related tasks or administrative tasks.

Requirements:

-Interest in FMCG product sales, retail brand marketing and digital marketing.
-Be able to travel to our World Square Flagship store
-Strong communication skills including written and verbal, Mandarin and English
-Basic Photoshop, InDesign and Lightroom experience.
-Motivation and drive to gain knowledge and experience and kick start your career
-Committed and organised to meet deadlines
