具体任务:

确保所有厨房员工严格遵守OKAMI的标准要求和规定。
在日常运营中实施和加强质量和安全标准。
在新员工入职时发挥主导作用,执行完整的入职流程。
向管理层通报员工工作变动情况,确保顺利过渡。
管理和核实员工的轮班时间表,确保在高峰运营时有足够的人手。
促进厨房和服务员之间的有效沟通,确保运营无缝。
与团队成员合作解决任何挑战,并提高整体效率。
监督厨房存货的收货和订购流程,确保严格遵循FIFO程序。
监控库存水平,防止短缺并及时补充以满足运营需求。
协调额外的订单以弥补短缺并优化库存水平。
及时报告场地内的任何故障或损坏问题,包括设备、配件、电气和燃气系统。
与相关人员合作,确保及时解决维护问题。

资格和技能:

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate。
在繁忙餐厅担任总厨或行政总厨的经验。

Okami is a renowned large chain restaurant in Australia with numerous locations, focusing on providing high-quality Japanese cuisine and an unparalleled dining experience. Our team is dynamic, passionate, and experienced. We are committed to achieving customer satisfaction and continuously striving for excellence.

We are currently hiring Head Chefs for multiple locations in NSW. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the quality of dishes and efficiency in production. The ideal candidate will have extensive culinary experience and skills, along with strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities. Maintaining high standards of food quality and service efficiency in a fast-paced environment is key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Team Leadership

Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, creating a positive and collaborative work environment.
Provide guidance and support to the team, encouraging professional development and growth.
2. Kitchen Management

Supervise and coordinate daily cooking activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high-quality standards.
3. Quality Control

Maintain keen attention to detail to ensure consistency and excellence in food quality.
Conduct regular tastings and checks to uphold the highest standards.

4. Hygiene and Safety

Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and training to promote a clean and compliant culture.
5. Collaboration

Work closely with other departments, such as the operations team and front-of-house staff, to streamline operations and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Specific Tasks:

Ensure all kitchen staff strictly adhere to OKAMI’s standards and regulations.
Implement and reinforce quality and safety standards in daily operations.
Lead the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a complete induction.
Report staff changes to management to ensure smooth transitions.
Manage and verify staff shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
Facilitate effective communication between the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless operations.
Collaborate with team members to address challenges and improve overall efficiency.
Oversee inventory receipt and ordering processes, ensuring strict adherence to FIFO procedures.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and replenish as needed to meet operational demands.
Coordinate additional orders to address shortages and optimize inventory levels.
Report any faults or damage within the premises, including equipment, fittings, electrical, and gas systems.
Work with relevant personnel to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
Experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a busy restaurant.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of current food trends and industry information.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
